Acceptable stay near Senso-ji
convenient location hotel pajamas relaxing onsen inflexible rules firm pillow limited space
The location was convenient.. It was just a short walk to the temple and nearby shops. The hotel provided pajamas to wear around the premises. I also appreciated the onsen after a long day of sightseeing.
The onsen rules felt inflexible. I found the pillow to be too firm for my liking. Space in the room was a bit tight for all our luggage.

onsen bliss and walkable asakusa
hotel cleanliness shoe locker complimentary ramen fresh breakfast
I loved the cleanliness throughout the entire hotel. the shoe lockers on the first floor kept everything tidy. washing machines were available for use and the evening ramen was a nice complimentary touch. japanese breakfast was also fresh and delicious. It was a great start to each day.
the staff wasn't always as attentive, especially regarding onsen policies. i wish there had been a bit more flexibility there.

the hotel provided complimentary ramen each evening from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm. breakfast had a fresh japanese selection daily. there was also a welcome drink of hot coffee available upon arrival. a good treat of yakult was offered after enjoying breakfast.

My standard twin room had tatami mats. the room was equipped with air conditioning. the space was ample. however. Only one hard pillow per person was available. this was my only slight issue.

the hotel is very close to senso-ji temple, practically right next door. many dining choices are within walking distance, and it's close to fun food and shopping options. multiple train stations are also nearby. this made getting around easy.

the onsen was a highlight, with a natural hot spring, sauna, and different temperature baths. massage chairs were available for use. complimentary popsicles were offered after using the spa. the hotel provided tattoo stickers for onsen access.

clean onsen big room free ice cream
I especially liked the onsen. It was very clean and so comfortable. The hotel room was bigger than I expected too. I found the free ice cream to be a very nice touch, we loved that.

tatami floor really good facility train station
the hotel is new. rooms have tatami floors throughout. the facilities are really good. the hotel is close to restaurants , shops , shrines and train stations.
the staff was not great.

hotel location ice cream special treats unhelpful staff unclear terms brick-like pillow
The hotel location allowed me to visit the temple anytime. Many restaurants surround the hotel. Yakult and ice cream were provided after the onsen, a very nice treat. The hotel.
I found that staff could have been more helpful. Onsen terms were not clear. I wish there were better pillows to make sleep amazing, brick-like pillow made it hard.
